Ashley Van Ekeren
NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED GA
Originally from the East Coast, Ashley has been an artist at heart for as long as she can remember, always drawn to creativity, color, and the way thoughtful spaces can make people feel connected and at ease. Through design and other creative outlets, she continues to find inspiration in art, travel, the outdoors, and the psychology behind design. After graduating from Louisiana State University in 2015 with a degree in Interior Design, she began her career in Dallas before making the move to Denver in 2021. Since then, she has continued creating intentional, memorable spaces rooted in each client’s vision, mission, and people. Known for her calm demeanor, positive energy, sense of humor, and hands-on approach, Ashley brings curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit to every phase of a project from concept through completion. Outside of design, she loves spending time outdoors with her dogs, Freddie and Wilma, watercolor painting, skiing, going to concerts, thrifting, and soaking up everything Colorado has to offer.

Embarrassing Fact: The day I got my license when I was 16, I wanted to go to the mall but had to stop at the gas station first. I managed to fill the car up halfway with diesel (don't ask me how). I realized and called my dad immediately and as you can imagine he was not happy. I made it to the mall eventually, but when leaving, the car wouldn't start and we had to have it towed to the dealership. Safe to say, my parents will never let me live it down to this day.
Alter ego if not an Interior Designer: I would love to DJ. I love anything related to music and although I have zero musical talent, I listen to music more than I watch TV or read. I love discovering new artists, dancing (even as a horrible dancer), and going to live shows.
Fun Fact: I am ambidextrous! I write with my left hand, but play sports with my right, and can do other things with both hands
Bucket List: Attending all 4 Grand Slam tennis tournaments - Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. I grew up playing tennis since I was 4 years old and still love the sport
